[ A Moment Of History ] ( Dec 24, 2024 )

In the past few days, similar news about "Trump doubles down on threat to take over Panama Canal " is very "Dazzling".

At first, I didn't pay much attention to this information, feeling it was just about politics or military etc, but after being bullish, I suddenly felt something was wrong intuitively. Later, I don't know how, my mind suddenly opened up, which led me to sell about one-sixth of my position in the Chinese Stock Market (the second half) of the Dec 23 which day most Asian stock markets rose except the Chinese stock market fell.

In fact, this news has strong economic implications, which many people don't see. That is, the US government may directly take further "low-price acquisitions" (such as the case of Tiktok) even military strikes or occupation (such as Panama Canal case here) of related companies or entities for "national security reasons" (especially those related to China), rather than just "economic sanctions" as before.

That is to say, in the future, if a port, development zone or free trade zone etc, is considered by the United States to be "for national security reasons", it may directly take military action (of course, some conditions such as "low-price acquisition of equity control" will be proposed before). It makes the business effect of whole thing immediately, and so powerful.

This is the upgraded economic and trade confrontation, which should be a response to China's embargo on rare and critical minerals to the United States in the previous stage.

I thought the stock market would fall or consolidate for a while, but I didn't expect that the Chinese stock market would rise sharply today. Fortunately, I only sold a small part of my position yesterday.

However, from the perspective of the stock market & human nature, if you think about it deeply and carefully, This Result Is Understandable. After all, every year in the Chinese stock market, there are many listed companies that are "dark financially eliminated" by various factors or reasons. What does it matter if other companies, perhaps just unfortunate a few, are "eliminated" by external military forces ? From the history of global stock markets, there are countless listed companies that have been "eliminated" by Dark Underground operations, but in the future, the Trump Administration may set a Precedent for listed companies that are "eliminated" by Public military operations.

In fact, if you expand your mind, there are so many cases with intentional or unintentional operating in the secular world (especially underground), and the overall and continuous damage accumulated (including the inherent damage of human nature) is much greater than those violent crimes even the military wars.

About My Habits

As usual when I arrive a new country, I will find a long-term rent hotel/apartment after 3 nights initialized temporary staying. Now I have found a long-term rent place in Tirana of Albania.

As usual when I decide to write an important or long words/posts, I will take a longer sleep mostly about 10 even 12 hours reached, normally with enough delicious food likes fired chicken & drinks (former just cola in mainland now upgraded to whiskey or brandy) etc. Of course if some pleasurable massages in addition would be better (a new habit ^_^).

Now time is tick tick urging ,, I try my best to do what I promised (myself) to do. About the words of writing for me, it's always a sure thing.

** btw, on the matters of writing did anybody remember I missed the hand in my past ?

** Just few days ago I get my 2 laptops together from my journey of Banja Luka ended and back to Belgrade of Serbia. So now I can update the pages using my big and double screen laptop with 64G memory which running without any cache on the hard disk. ^_^
